볼리비아 Bolivia 10 볼리비아노스 신권 공개

4월, 볼리비아 중앙 은행(Banco Central de Bolivia)이 10 볼리비아노스(Bs10) 신권을 공개하였습니다.

The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) issues the First Family of Tickets (PFB) of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, with three objectives:

 

INCLUDE in the banknotes characters and images with national, regional, gender representation, with a modern and safe design .:

CONSOLIDATE the greater use of the national currency.

IMPROVE the security measures known to the population and add others of the latest generation.

 

The PFB maintains the same cuts (Bs10, Bs20, Bs50, Bs100 and Bs200), the same material (100% cotton), size (14 cm x 7 cm) and predominant colors of the previous notes.

The BCB informs that the bills of the new and the previous family will circulate SIMULTANEOUSLY until they last their useful life

JOSÉ SANTOS VARGAS, "EL TAMBOR VARGAS" (Oruro, 1796-s / f)

Guerrilla fighter who fought around 10 years in the War of Independence, until acquiring the rank of Commander of Mohosa. He wrote a newspaper that is considered one of the most fascinating documents of that struggle.

Apiaguaiki Tüpa (Guaraní Region, 1863-1892)

Guaraní leader who fought against the subjugation of the lands of his people and the abuse of power of the authorities of the time. He managed to survive the Kuruyuki massacre (1892), but was later arrested and executed.

Eustaquio Méndez "The Moto Méndez" (Tarija, 1785-1849)

Guerrilla leader who during the War of Independence participated in the battles of Tucumán (1812), Salta (1813) and La Tablada (1817). He promoted the incorporation of Tarija to the Republic of Bolivia, despite the strong ties he had with his comrades in Salta.

CAVERNA DE UMAJALANTA, TOROTORO

Natural grotto of multiple limestone rock galleries, in which striking figures were formed, including a theatrical setting.

It is constituted in the most extensive cavern (7,000 meters) and deep (164 meters) of Bolivia. It is one of the most visited tourist sites in the country.
